Noun Definition
Noun is the name of a person, place, animal, thing, organization, feeling, or idea. In other words, a noun is a naming word.

Kinds of Noun
Nouns can be classified into the following kinds
Common Noun

Proper Noun

Proper nouns always begin with a capital letter no matter where they appear in a sentence.
Collective Noun
The collective noun is the name given to a group of people, animals, birds, or things. Such a group is generally treated as a singular unit.

Abstract Noun

Material Noun
Material noun is the name given to non-living substances around us from which things are made.
Example:

- The bed is made of wood.
