Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is an Indian cricket player who has made a name for himself in the world of cricket. Born on 5th November 1988 in New Delhi, Virat Kohli started playing cricket in 1998 under the guidance of Delhi Cricket Academy.

He made his official debut in October 2002 with the Delhi Under-15 team. He first played for ODI in 2008 and T20 in 2010 with Team India.

Virat led the Indian National Cricket Team as Test Captain from 2014 to 2022. In November 2023 Kohli scored his 50th ODI century to surpass Tendulkar’s record and became the first player to score 50 centuries in ODI cricket.

Answer: A R Rahman, born in January 1966 in Chennai as Dileep Kumar, is a famous music director and singer. He lost his father when he was quite young. So, his mother influenced his personality greatly. Rahman had his initial training under the legendary Master Dhanraj and Illaiyaraja.

He did his graduation in Western classical music from Trinity College of Music in England. When he came back to India, he set up a recording studio in 1992.

Vishwanathan Anand was born on 11th December 1969 in Tamil Nadu. He is an Indian chess player who held the undisputed title of World Chess Champion from 2007 to 2013.

He learned to play chess from his mother at the age of 6 and became the first Asian at the age of 17 to win the world chess title at the FIDE World Junior Championship in the year 1987.

Answer: Swami Vivekananda, the popular Hindu monk of India, was born on 12th January 1863, in Simla in Calcutta. His parents- Biswanath Dutta and Bhubaneswari Devi named him Narendranath but lovingly called him Bile. Bile was very naughty and restless but very bold and brave in his childhood.

He had his early education at home and school education at the Metropolitan School. Then, he was admitted to the Presidency College and later to the General Assemblies Institution.

At this time, young Narendranath heard about Sri Ramakrishna and was tremendously influenced by him. Soon, he became his great student and came to be known as Swami Vivekananda.

Then, he went to America to join the Parliament of Religions held in Chicago in 1893. Later, he founded the Ramakrishna Math and Mission at Belur in 1898 for the service of suffering humanity. This great patriot of India died on 4th July 1902.
