Beauty Stanza 2
Beauty is heard
In the night,
Wind sighing, rain falling,
Or a singer chanting
Anything in earnest.
Explanation In these lines, the poet adds that beauty can also be heard during the night. It is heard during the rainy night in the sounds made by the blowing wind and in the sounds made by rain.
It is also heard in the songs sung by a singer. Thus, beauty is present everywhere if one tries hard enough to hear it.
